Key Responsibilities
- Lead training sessions over phone, in-person, or online, prioritizing pet parent satisfaction.
- Actively sell classes and educate on curriculum benefits; handle concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and clean training areas.
- Serve as training expert for store associates; recognize sales contributions.
- Respond to pet emergencies, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Thrive under pressure with organizational skills and schedule flexibility. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a dynamic retail setting.
