Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Philadelphia, PA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Educate on training benefits, sell classes, and ensure safe, clean environments while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Customer Engagement
Lead classes per curriculum, handle inquiries via phone/in-person/online, resolve concerns, and sell training packages. Educate associates as subject matter expert.
Operations & Safety
Maintain paperwork/scheduling, keep areas clean, ensure safety, respond to pet emergencies, and assist other departments. Recognize team contributions.
Experience & Skills
Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, strong organization, and communication. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs, standing, animal exposure.
