Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Philadelphia, PA, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Educate on training benefits, sell classes, and ensure safe, clean environments while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell and schedule training classes across channels.
- Maintain all training paperwork and educate store associates as subject matter expert.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in training areas; handle sick/injured pets.
- Recommend merchandise, assist other departments, and participate in company culture.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
