Key Responsibilities

• Lead training classes following PetSmart curriculum, ensuring safe, fun environments.
• Actively sell classes via in-store, phone, and online channels; educate on program benefits.
• Handle pet parent inquiries, concerns, and paperwork with precision.
• Maintain clean training areas and respond to pet health issues promptly.
• Collaborate with store team as training expert and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Requires 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure essential. Must lift 50+ lbs, handle live animals, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include standing, bending, and exposure to pet hair/noise.
