Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Roswell, GA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote classes, educate on curriculum benefits, and ensure safe, clean environments. This role demands flexibility, pet passion, and customer focus in a dynamic retail setting with live animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Drive sales of training classes across channels and recommend merchandise/services.
• Schedule classes, maintain paperwork, and educate store associates as training expert.
• Ensure safety: create secure class areas, handle sick/injured pets (including vet transport), and keep spaces clean.
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and participate in recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping, and exposure to pets, noise, and wet areas. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays required.
