Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Educate on training benefits, sell classes, and ensure safe, clean environments while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; address concerns promptly.
- Actively sell and schedule training classes across channels.
- Maintain all training paperwork and educate associates as subject matter expert.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in training areas; handle sick/injured pets.
- Recommend merchandise/services and assist other departments.
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle animals in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair exposure.
Experience & Skills
- 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience.
- PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation required.
- Strong communication, organization, computer proficiency; composure under pressure; flexible scheduling.
