Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training sessions via phone, in-person, or online, managing pet parent experiences and outcomes.
- Actively promote and sell group/private classes, educating on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and clean training areas.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend services/merchandise, and assist other departments.
- Serve as training expert, fostering team recognition and belonging.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Thrive under pressure with organizational skills, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs amid pets, noise, and wet environments.
