Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Saint Louis, Missouri, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. Actively promote and sell training services while ensuring safety and excellence in every class.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
- Serve as training subject matter expert, recognizing associate contributions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
