Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in San Diego CA you'll engage pet parents and pets delivering positive training experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision by educating on training benefits and providing expert services via in-person phone or online channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pet training classes ensuring safety and positive outcomes
- Sell training programs educate parents on curriculum benefits
- Maintain paperwork scheduling and clean training areas
- Handle sick/injured pets transport to vet if needed
- Collaborate across departments recommend merchandise services
Experience & Skills
Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation computer proficiency strong communication organizational skills and flexibility for evenings weekends holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs standing reaching and animal exposure.
