Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences, educates pet parents, and drives sales while upholding our vision. Accredited instructors lead classes, ensure safety, and collaborate across departments in a dynamic pet retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Engage pet parents via phone, in-person, or online to sell and deliver training classes.
• Maintain paperwork, schedule sessions, and keep training areas clean/safe.
• Educate associates as training expert and recognize sales contributions.
• Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
• Follow policies, participate in recognition culture, and ensure positive outcomes.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, holidays required.
