Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences using our proven curriculum. You'll engage pet parents, sell classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success. This dynamic role combines pet expertise, customer service, and sales in a fun, pet-filled retail setting. Full-time position with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions over phone, in-person, or online while prioritizing pet parent satisfaction.
• Actively promote and sell training programs, educating on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and a clean, safe training environment.
• Handle sick/injured pets promptly, collaborate across departments, and recognize team sales efforts.
• Uphold company policies, participate in Belonging & Recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail/customer service experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication/organizational skills. Must handle pressure, lift 50+ lbs, and work in pet-heavy environments with moderate noise.
