Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Sun City, Arizona, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits across channels.
- Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
- Recognize associates and embody company policies.
Experience & Skills
Require 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, and strong communication/organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a moderate-noise environment.
