Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences, educates pet parents, and drives sales of our proven curriculum. You'll engage customers in-store, online, or by phone, ensuring safe, fun classes that build pet-parent bonds. Key Responsibilities

• Lead pet training sessions, managing pet parent experiences and outcomes across channels.
• Actively sell classes, educate on curriculum benefits, and handle concerns professionally.
• Maintain records, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
• Recognize team contributions, assist other departments, and respond to pet emergencies.
• Uphold company policies while recommending merchandise and services.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Thrive under pressure with organizational skills, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, handle animals, and navigate pet hair/noise.
