Role Overview

The PetsHotel Manager provides leadership oversight for pet safety, team performance, and exceptional pet parent experiences in our Houston, Texas store. You'll drive company strategies, achieve key results, and ensure seamless hotel operations while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage scheduling, performance reviews, and conflict resolution; foster engagement through recognition and team activities.
• Hotel & Pet Care Operations: Handle reservations, check-ins, medication administration, and health monitoring; maintain cleanliness and safety; respond to pet parent concerns and coordinate events.
• Business Execution: Partner on P&L, ensure policy compliance, recommend merchandise, and lead as Leader on Duty.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 3+ years in retail leadership or customer-focused roles. Key skills include pet care knowledge, team motivation, operational efficiency, and flexibility for full-time shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in computers and strong communication are essential.
