Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. Working alongside the PetsHotel Experience Leader, you'll maintain a welcoming, safe environment, oversee operations, lead associates, and ensure top-tier pet care and facility standards in our Atlanta, Georgia location.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching. Delegate tasks, lead when on duty, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements to drive engagement.
- Hotel Operations: Manage pet check-ins/outs, administer medications, ensure feeding/watering/healthcare, and coordinate vet visits. Handle reservations, pet parent concerns, and maintain cleanliness/safety.
- Store Support: Perform opening/closing procedures, safety walks, equipment maintenance, event coordination, merchandise sales, and compliance with policies. Assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Leadership preferred. Must have full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. Passion for pets and ability to guide associates without direct reports essential.
