Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor (Experience Lead) ensures a welcoming, safe haven for pets, upholding PetSmart's vision of exceptional care. You'll partner with leadership to manage hotel operations, supervise associates, handle openings/closings, and maintain top standards in cleanliness, safety, and pet health.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; lead on-duty teams; handle grievances and celebrate successes.
- Hotel Operations: Manage check-ins/outs, administer medications, monitor pet health, coordinate vet visits, and enforce reservation policies.
- Customer & Safety Focus: Deliver outstanding pet parent service, ensure facility cleanliness, perform safety reporting, and resolve incidents.
- Store Support: Execute openings/closings, sell services, coordinate events, maintain equipment, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, leadership background, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and meticulous organization. No direct reports, but you'll guide associate growth. Pet care passion is a plus.

- Oversee PetsHotel operations including pet check-in/out, healthcare, medication administration, and facility cleanliness
- Manage pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, or online, resolving concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Ensure safety standards, conduct daily safety walks, and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Drive store experience by handling openings/closings, events, sales, and compliance with policies
