Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role ensures a welcoming, safe environment in the PetsHotel, managing healthcare, cleanliness, associate oversight, and store operations. Alongside the PetsHotel Experience Leader, you'll handle opening/closing, safety, and pet parent interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate experience via training, mentoring, coaching, task delegation, and feedback for performance reviews, promotions, and grievances. Lead as leader on duty and celebrate team achievements.
- Hotel Operations: Manage pet check-in/out, healthcare (medication, feeding, vet transport), reservations per policy, facility cleanliness, safety reporting, and equipment maintenance.
- Store Experience: Deliver outstanding pet parent service, coordinate events, sell merchandise/services, ensure policy compliance, maintain safety, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Leadership preferred. Requires full-time flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports but guide associate development. Passion for pets a plus.
