Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor (Experience Lead) ensures a welcoming, safe haven for pets, upholding PetSmart's vision of exceptional care. You'll partner with the PetsHotel Leader to manage operations, supervise associates, handle openings/closings, and deliver outstanding pet parent service in our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; lead as leader-on-duty; address grievances; celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
- Hotel Operations: Manage check-ins/outs, pet healthcare (meds, feeding, vet coordination), cleanliness, reservations, and safety reporting.
- Store Experience: Resolve pet parent concerns, sell services/merchandise, maintain standards, ensure safety, perform equipment maintenance, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, leadership prowess, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and meticulous organization. Passion for pets and customer focus are essential—no direct reports, but you'll guide associate growth.
