Role Overview

The PetsHotel Supervisor (Experience Lead) ensures a safe, welcoming hotel environment for pets, upholding PetSmart's vision. You'll partner with leadership to oversee operations, associates, and pet parent satisfaction, handling everything from openings/closings to healthcare and cleanliness in our Orange, CA location.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; provide performance feedback; resolve grievances; celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
• Hotel Operations: Manage check-ins/outs, reservations, pet medications, feeding, and vet transports; maintain cleanliness and safety standards; conduct monthly reporting.
• Customer & Store Experience: Deliver exceptional service to pet parents; sell services/merchandise; coordinate events; ensure policy compliance and safe environment.
• Additional Duties: Support store openings/closings, equipment maintenance, incident follow-up, and cross-department assistance.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, strong leadership, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, communication skills, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. Passion for pets is a plus—no direct reports, but you'll guide associate growth.
