Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. Working alongside the PetsHotel Experience Leader, you'll maintain a welcoming, safe environment, oversee operations, manage associates, and ensure facility cleanliness and pet healthcare. This full-time role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks; lead as leader on duty; handle complaints and recognize top performers.
- Hotel Operations: Manage pet check-ins/outs, administer medications, ensure healthcare and cleanliness; coordinate vet visits; enforce reservation policies.
- Store Experience: Deliver outstanding pet parent service; maintain safety standards, equipment, and cleanliness; support opening/closing; sell merchandise; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, strong leadership, computer proficiency, communication skills, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. No direct reports, but guide associate development. Passion for pets is a plus.
