Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role ensures a welcoming, safe environment with proper healthcare and cleanliness. You'll oversee PetsHotel maintenance, manage associates, handle store opening/closing, and maintain organization alongside the PetsHotel Experience Leader.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Facilitate associate experience through training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, feedback, disciplinary action, and promotions. Delegate tasks, lead as leader on duty, address complaints, and celebrate engagement.
Hotel Operations & Store Experience
Manage pet parent interactions, pet healthcare (medication, feeding, vet transport), check-in/out processes, reservations, safety reporting, cleanliness, events, sales, policy compliance, and equipment maintenance. Support safety incidents and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, leadership preferred. Full-time flexibility required, including evenings/weekends/holidays. Key skills: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports but guide associate development.

- Drive store opening/closing procedures, event coordination, merchandise sales, and policy compliance
