Role Overview
As PetsHotel Supervisor, you'll provide exceptional service in a welcoming, safe environment for pets. Partnering with the PetsHotel Experience Leader, oversee maintenance, associate guidance, store opening/closing, and ensure healthcare, cleanliness, and safety standards. Lead operations to uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring; delegate tasks; lead on-duty associates; handle complaints; recognize engagement.
- Hotel Operations: Manage pet parent interactions, healthcare (meds, feeding), check-in/out, reservations; ensure vet transports; maintain cleanliness and safety reporting.
- Store Support: Coordinate events, sell services, perform maintenance, assist other departments, follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Leadership preferred. Require full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance feedback.
