Role Overview
The PetsHotel Supervisor (also known as PetsHotel Experience Lead) ensures a welcoming, safe haven for pets, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll partner with the PetsHotel Experience Leader to manage operations, oversee associates, handle openings/closings, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in our Sunset Valley location.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks; lead as leader on duty; handle complaints; recognize top performers.
- Hotel Operations: Manage pet check-ins/outs, healthcare (medication, feeding, vet coordination), facility cleanliness, reservations, and safety reporting.
- Customer & Store Experience: Deliver outstanding service to pet parents; coordinate events; sell merchandise; ensure policy compliance; support store-wide safety and maintenance.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, with leadership preferred. Full-time flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. Proficiency in computer apps, strong communication, composure under pressure, and meticulous organization are key. No direct reports, but you'll guide associate development.
