Role Overview

The PetsHotel Supervisor provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role ensures a welcoming, safe environment with proper healthcare and cleanliness. You'll support the PetsHotel Experience Leader in maintenance, oversight, opening/closing the store, leading associates, and fostering a safe, organized space in our Tampa, Florida location.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Facilitate associate experience through training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, feedback, disciplinary action, and promotions. Delegate tasks, lead when on duty, address complaints, and celebrate engagement.

Hotel Operations & Store Experience

Manage pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, or online. Oversee pet healthcare, medication, vet transports, check-in/out processes, reservations, safety reporting, cleanliness, events, merchandise sales, policy compliance, incident support, equipment maintenance, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, leadership preferred. Full-time flexibility required, including evenings, weekends, holidays. Strong computer skills, communication, composure under pressure, organization, and attention to detail essential. No direct reports but guide associate development.
