Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholds PetSmart's vision, and achieves targeted results through loyalty, promotions, and store interactions. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance feedback; delegate tasks, resolve complaints, and celebrate achievements.
- Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, or online; promote events like adoptions and shot clinics; manage live pet sales/adoptions; handle POS, online orders, and inventory counts.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure safety for people/pets, maintain cleanliness, follow opening/closing procedures, and support other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of customer-focused retail experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide feedback.
