Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our vibrant pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks; lead associates as Leader on Duty; recognize top performers.
- Pet Parent Experience: Handle inquiries (phone/in-person/online), promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, manage live pet sales/adoptions, and ensure seamless online pickups.
- Store Operations: Maintain safety/cleanliness standards, conduct cycle counts, operate POS systems, and support opening/closing procedures.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), strong communication/organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide performance feedback.
