Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholds company values, and achieves targeted results through loyalty, promotions, and store interactions. This full-time role shares oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback; delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, and boost engagement.
- Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Manage pet parent interactions (in-person, phone, online), promote events/adoptions/vet partnerships, handle live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, and ensure safety/cleanliness.
- Address concerns, maintain compliance, support services, and assist other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide feedback.
