Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our vibrant Charlotte location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience: train, mentor, coach, and provide feedback for performance, promotions, and discipline.
  • Lead pet parent interactions: resolve concerns, promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, handle live pet sales.
  • Manage operations: oversee daily tasks, cycle counts, online order pickups, POS backups, and store cleanliness/safety.
  • Ensure compliance: uphold policies, report pet health issues, and coordinate opening/closing procedures.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers and full availability required. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as supervisor when leaders are absent.

  • Drive pet parent experience via loyalty programs, promotions, and issue resolution
  • Oversee store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with policies
  • Coordinate store events, live pet sales, adoptions, and vet partnerships
  • Manage online order fulfillment, POS operations, and cash handling as backup
  • Act as Leader on Duty, delegating tasks and addressing associate concerns
  • Ensure safe handling of pets and immediate action on health issues
