Role Overview

As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions to achieve results. Share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams without direct reports but providing key feedback.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Facilitate associate experience: train, onboard, mentor, coach, and provide feedback for reviews, discipline, and promotions. Delegate tasks, validate compliance, lead when managers are absent, address grievances, and celebrate engagement.

Brand Integrity & Store Experience

Handle pet parent interactions (phone/in-person/online), promote events (adoptions, vet clinics), manage live pet sales/adoptions, support inventory counts, prepare online orders, operate POS, maintain cleanliness/safety, and ensure policy compliance. Transport sick pets to vets as needed; assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years customer-focused retail experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. Passion for pets a plus.
