Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our vibrant Daly City location.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and feedback; delegate tasks; lead as Leader on Duty; recognize top performers; address grievances.
Brand Integrity & Store Experience
Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, or online; promote events, adoptions, and sales; manage live pet care and vet transports; ensure cleanliness and safety; handle POS, online pickups, and inventory counts.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience, preferred leadership background, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and computer proficiency. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
