Role Overview

As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions to achieve results. Share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams and ensuring brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Train, mentor, coach associates; provide feedback for reviews/promotions; delegate tasks; resolve complaints; celebrate achievements.
  • Brand & Store Experience: Handle pet parent interactions (phone/in-person/online); promote events like adoptions/shot clinics; manage live pet sales; prepare online orders; backup POS/cash handling.
  • Operations: Maintain safety/cleanliness; report sick pets; support opening/closing; assist other departments; ensure policy compliance.

Experience & Skills

Seek 2+ years retail/customer service experience (leadership preferred). Full-time flexibility required (evenings/weekends/holidays). Need strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, and computer skills. Guide associates without direct reports.

  • Oversee store cleanliness, safety & merchandising standards
  • Manage live pet sales, adoptions & store events
  • Handle POS transactions, online order fulfillment & cycle counts as backup
