Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) delivers exceptional service to pet parents, drives loyalty and promotions, and supports store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our pet-loving community.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks; lead associates as Leader on Duty; handle complaints and recognize top performers.
- Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Manage pet parent interactions (in-person, phone, online); promote events like adoptions and shot clinics; handle live pet sales/adoptions; prepare online orders; maintain POS accuracy; ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Support cycle counts, merchandising, opening/closing, and cross-department tasks while upholding policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail experience, leadership preferred. Key skills include strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide feedback.
