Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholds PetSmart's vision, and achieves targeted results through loyalty, promotions, and store interactions. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching. Delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, address complaints, and celebrate engagement to build high-performing teams.

Brand Integrity & Store Experience

Deliver outstanding service via phone, in-person, or online. Promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, handle live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, maintain cleanliness/safety, and ensure policy compliance. Report sick pets and assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full availability, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance feedback.
