Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) delivers exceptional service to pet parents, drives loyalty and promotions, and supports store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our Houston location.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; provide performance feedback; recognize achievements; handle complaints.
  • Pet Parent Experience: Resolve concerns via phone/in-person/online; promote events like adoptions and shot clinics; manage live pet sales/adoptions; prepare online orders.
  • Store Operations: Maintain safety/cleanliness; conduct cycle counts; operate POS; ensure policy compliance; assist with opening/closing.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), strong communication/organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and ability to guide associates without direct reports required.

  • Oversee store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with policies

  • Support POS operations, cash handling, and cross-departmental tasks
