Role Overview

As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision. Drive loyalty, promotions, and in-store interactions to achieve results. Share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams and ensuring brand standards.

People Leadership

Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance feedback. Delegate tasks, resolve complaints, celebrate successes, and support Services when needed.

Brand Integrity & Store Experience

Handle pet parent interactions across phone, in-person, and online. Promote events like adoptions and clinics. Manage live pet sales/adoptions, cycle counts, POS backups, and online pickups. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct associates as Leader on Duty
  • Ensure safe environments for people, pets, and customers
  • Coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Validate operational tasks and engagement compliance
  • Respond to concerns and promote merchandise/services

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail experience, leadership preferred. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Excel in communication, organization, composure under pressure, and computer skills. Passion for pets a plus – no direct reports but guide associate growth.
