Role Overview
As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions store-wide, sharing oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, supporting services and ensuring brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, coach associates; provide feedback for reviews/promotions; delegate tasks; resolve grievances; celebrate engagement.
- Brand & Store Experience: Handle pet parent interactions (phone/in-person/online); promote events, adoptions, vet partnerships; manage live pet sales; prepare online orders; operate POS; maintain safety/cleanliness.
- Ensure policy compliance, pet welfare (vet transport if needed), and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Bring 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full availability including evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate development.
