Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll champion loyalty programs, promotions, and interactions across the store, sharing oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement to achieve targeted results.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, handle grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
  • Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Resolve pet parent concerns via phone/in-person/online; promote events like adoptions and shot clinics; manage live pet sales/adoptions; prepare online orders; operate POS; maintain cleanliness/safety; report sick pets and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility including evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate development.
