Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholds brand standards, and supports store operations. You'll lead associates as Leader on Duty, promote loyalty initiatives, manage pet adoptions and sales, and ensure a safe, clean store. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback; delegate daily tasks and resolve grievances.
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; handle concerns and promote events like adoptions and shot clinics.
- Oversee live pet sales/adoptions, online order pickups, POS operations, and monthly cycle counts.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with policies; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Support merchandising, services, and cross-department tasks while acting as backup leader.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), strong communication/organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide feedback.
