Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our Philadelphia location.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching. Delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, address complaints, and celebrate engagement. Provide feedback for performance reviews and support Services businesses.

Brand Integrity & Store Experience

Deliver outstanding service via phone, in-person, or online. Promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, handle live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety—including transporting sick pets to vets. Support cycle counts, merchandising, and policy compliance.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience, preferred leadership background, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide associates and act in supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pet parent experience via loyalty programs, promotions, and exceptional service
  • Oversee store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with policies
  • Manage live pet sales, adoptions, store events, and vet partnerships
  • Handle online order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cycle counts as backup
  • Act as Leader on Duty, delegating tasks and addressing associate concerns
  • Ensure safe environment for pets, associates, and customers including sick pet protocols
