Role Overview
As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions to achieve results. Share oversight of store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams without direct reports but providing performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Facilitate associate experience via training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and feedback for reviews/discipline/promotions. Delegate tasks, lead when managers are absent, handle complaints, and celebrate engagement.
Brand Integrity & Store Experience
Manage pet parent interactions across phone, in-person, online; promote events like adoptions and shot clinics; handle live pet sales/adoptions; support cycle counts, online pickups, POS/cash handling; maintain cleanliness/safety; report sick pets and transport as needed; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years customer-focused retail experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexible schedule, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. Passion for pets and retail excellence a plus.
