Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty to guide teams and achieve results in a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks; lead as Leader on Duty; handle complaints and recognize top performers.
  • Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Deliver outstanding service in-person, phone, or online; promote events, adoptions, and sales; manage POS, online orders, inventory counts; ensure safety, cleanliness, and policy compliance; assist with pet health issues.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Lead associate development through training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Drive pet parent experience via loyalty programs, promotions, and exceptional service across channels
  • Oversee store safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with policies
  • Manage live pet sales, adoptions, store events, and marketing initiatives
  • Handle POS transactions, online order fulfillment, cycle counts, and opening/closing procedures
  • Act as Leader on Duty, delegating tasks, addressing complaints, and ensuring operational compliance
