Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) delivers exceptional service to pet parents, drives loyalty and promotions, and supports store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our vibrant pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching. Delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements to boost engagement.
Brand Integrity & Store Experience
Handle pet parent interactions across phone, in-person, and online channels. Promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, manage live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, maintain cleanliness/safety, and ensure policy compliance. Report and transport sick pets as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail experience, preferably in leadership. Key traits: strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance feedback.
