Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) delivers exceptional service to pet parents, drives loyalty and promotions, and supports store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty to guide teams toward targeted results.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and feedback; delegate tasks, resolve grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
  • Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Handle pet parent interactions across channels, promote events/adoptions/vet partnerships, manage live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, and ensure safety/cleanliness standards.
  • Support services, cycle counts, opening/closing, and cross-departmental needs while upholding policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate development.

  • Drive pet parent experience via loyalty programs, promotions, and issue resolution
  • Oversee store cleanliness, safety for people/pets, and merchandising standards
  • Manage live pet sales, adoptions, and coordinate store events/marketing
  • Handle POS transactions, online order fulfillment, and opening/closing procedures
