Role Overview
As Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead), deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions to hit targets. Share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams without direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, coach associates; validate tasks; lead when managers absent; handle complaints and celebrate wins.
- Brand & Store Experience: Resolve pet parent issues; promote events/adoptions/vet clinics; manage pet sales; prep online orders; maintain POS/cash accuracy; ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Support services, cycle counts, opening/closing; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Need 2+ years customer-focused retail; leadership preferred. Full availability essential. Excel in communication, organization, pressure-handling, and computers. Passion for pets boosts success. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide feedback.
