Role Overview
The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, upholds PetSmart's vision, and achieves targeted results through loyalty, promotions, and store interactions. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Facilitate associate onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance feedback; delegate tasks, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Brand Integrity & Store Experience: Manage pet parent interactions (in-person, phone, online), promote events/adoptions/vet clinics, handle live pet sales, prepare online orders, operate POS, and ensure safety/cleanliness.
- Support services, cycle counts, opening/closing procedures, and cross-departmental needs while following all policies.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of customer-focused retail experience (leadership preferred), full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide feedback.
