Role Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder/Experience Lead) drives exceptional pet parent service, loyalty strategies, and store operations. You'll share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement, acting as Leader on Duty to ensure seamless store performance. This full-time role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in our vibrant Yorkville location.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; delegate tasks, lead as Leader on Duty, and recognize top performers.
  • Pet Parent Experience: Handle inquiries, promote events like adoptions and shot clinics, manage live pet sales, and ensure smooth online order pickups.
  • Store Operations: Maintain safety standards, cleanliness, POS accuracy, inventory counts, and compliance with policies; assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of customer-focused retail experience, with leadership preferred. Key skills include strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational prowess, computer proficiency, and a passion for pets. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide performance feedback.
