Role Overview

As Experience Lead (Retail Customer Service Supervisor/Key Holder), you'll deliver exceptional service to pet parents while upholding PetSmart's vision. Drive loyalty, promotions, and interactions to achieve results. Share oversight of safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement. Act as Leader on Duty, guiding teams without direct reports but providing key feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Train, mentor, coach associates; validate tasks; lead when managers are absent; handle complaints and celebrate wins.
  • Brand & Store Experience: Resolve pet parent issues across channels; promote events like adoptions and clinics; manage live pet sales/adoptions; handle online orders and POS; ensure safety, cleanliness, and policy compliance.
  • Support services, cycle counts, merchandising, and multi-department flexibility.

Experience & Skills

Bring 2+ years retail customer service experience (leadership preferred), full availability, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. Passion for pets and pet parents sets you apart.

  • Act as Leader on Duty directing associates, delegating tasks & handling grievances
  • Manage online order fulfillment, POS transactions, events & compliance with policies
