Role Overview
As Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader), you'll have shared accountability for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate leadership, financial outcomes, and maintaining a safe store environment. Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Recruit, interview, coach associates; manage onboarding, reviews, labor, and succession planning. Delegate tasks, ensure training compliance, and foster engagement through recognition.
Store Experience & Operations
Oversee pet healthcare, habitat maintenance, inventory processes, merchandising, and BOPIS/SFS programs. Maintain vendor relations, backroom standards, and respond to pet parent concerns while ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Expense Management
Drive sales growth, achieve P&L targets, minimize shrink, and analyze reports to identify opportunities.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail management, leadership expertise, inventory proficiency, and pet care knowledge. Key skills include team coaching, operational analysis, merchandising, and P&L accountability. Must thrive in fast-paced environments prioritizing pet welfare and customer satisfaction.

- Manage inventory accuracy, receiving, stocking, and planogram execution
- Drive store P&L performance including sales targets and shrink reduction
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Coordinate opening/closing procedures and respond to customer concerns
- Analyze sales trends and optimize merchandising decisions
- Facilitate Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store operations
