Role Overview

The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving store performance, including merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate leadership, financial outcomes, and safety. This full-time role ensures our Atlanta store upholds PetSmart's vision while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, onboarding, reviews, and grievances; delegate tasks and ensure pet safety training.
• Store Experience: Oversee pet health (feeding, cleaning habitats), inventory processes (receiving, stocking, counts), merchandising, BOPIS/SFS programs, and store standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Expense Management: Analyze reports to hit sales/shrink targets, control labor/supplies, and identify growth opportunities.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, proven leadership in team development, strong operational knowledge in inventory and merchandising, passion for pet care, and analytical skills for P&L management. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities are essential in our fast-paced pet retail environment.
