Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll manage merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate leadership, financial outcomes, and a safe store environment in our Brenham location.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, interview, coach associates; manage onboarding, reviews, labor, mentoring, and task delegation to meet business needs.
- Store Experience: Oversee pet healthcare, inventory processes (receiving, stocking, counts), merchandising, BOPIS/SFS programs, vendor relations, and store standards for safety and cleanliness.
- Expense Management: Analyze reports to hit sales/shrink targets, control labor/supplies, and leverage resources for business growth.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail leadership experience, pet care knowledge, strong communication, analytical skills for P&L, and a passion for pets. You'll excel in coaching teams, problem-solving, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies while handling customer concerns
